PgMP® Prerequisites

To be eligible for the PgMP® certification, you must meet one of the following sets of requirements (all experience must be within the past 15 years):

Option 1:

  • Secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree, or global equivalent)
  • Either a current PMP® certification or at least 48 months (4 years) of project management experience
  • At least 84 months (7 years) of program management experience

Option 2:

  • Four-year degree (bachelor’s degree or global equivalent)
  • Either a current PMP® certification or at least 48 months (4 years) of project management experience
  • At least 48 months (4 years) of program management experience
